The mentoring program has a focus on freelancing. So the steps are:
- Learn the fundamentals of web development and programming.
- Build a portfolio site.
- I inspect the portfolio site to be sure it is professional.
- You do the training on freelancing and small project management.
- You do the soft skills training so you can communicate well with clients.
- You go out and do 2-3 small free freelance projects to build skills and to beef up your portfolio.
- All the while, you get live support from me and others in the program,
