The real risk isn\u2019t AI\u2014it\u2019s standing still<\/h4>\n

A lot of developers are worried about an AI bubble, and whether jobs are about to disappear. That\u2019s not the right question. The real problem is much simpler: are you adapting, or are you clinging to an old model that\u2019s already fading?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Because AI isn\u2019t wiping out developers. It\u2019s wiping out a certain type of developer\u2014the one who sticks to yesterday\u2019s way of working and hopes it will somehow hold.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t new\u2014we\u2019ve seen it before<\/h4>\n

When the web showed up, it didn\u2019t destroy software development. It shifted it. Developers who were building desktop apps saw demand dry up, while web developers suddenly had more work than they could handle.<\/p>\n

Same thing happened in marketing. Traditional channels shrank, while digital marketing exploded into something much bigger. Entire categories of jobs appeared out of nowhere.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s how these transitions work. Old work disappears, but new work appears faster\u2014if you\u2019re positioned for it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s actually changing<\/h4>\n

The big shift isn\u2019t just \u201cusing AI tools.\u201d It\u2019s a change in how software gets built. The developers who thrive are the ones who can guide, shape, and judge what AI produces.<\/p>\n

That requires a different skill set than just writing code line by line.<\/p>\n
